a play date of sorts

a college friend, kristyn, was swinging through town this week. we enjoyed an impromptu visit at barnes & nobles. it was especially fun getting to meet her little one, preston (he is 9 months old). isn't he a doll? you can see more of his cuteness here.

she also kept her eye on jason, kristyn's husband. she is in the throws of stranger anxiety & would scream/cry any time he made eye contact with her. jason was a good sport, repeating, "that's right- no eye contact, no eye contact." here she is in the middle of an anxiety attack, while staring him down.
