the road to motherhood

i stumbled across an old document containing emails/ posts to some of my girlfriends who have struggled with infertility or miscarriages. it was amazing to reflect on my journey to becoming a mother. i thought it would be appropriate to include these entries in order to document God's faithfulness in our family. join in reading if you like, or feel free to skip these long babbles all together. these are mostly for our records, in case i ever have this blog printed for the babies someday.

we had our anniversary trip...ryan surprised me with every detail. we both got massages, stayed at the mansion in austin for one night and then went to a B&B in fredricksburg....didn't sleep since we found a scorpion in our bed. the B&B was out in the country so i guess that's what you get. then we headed back to austin for a wedding on saturday and to the coast on sunday for the week.

stopped the progesterone and waiting for a new cycle. pregnancy test was neg this morning and i am thankful that i am not too bummed out. i really prepared myself a week or so ago for a new cycle and am looking forward to starting the meds again this week. if this next cycle is not the one then we will take a break since i would hate to be doing treatments/ IUI during the first 6 weeks of teaching my new class of 19 - 4 year olds. we'll probably do our final IUI cycle around november and beyond that we will move onto IVF. i think 4 hybrid/ IUI is probably about all they will do before taking the next step forward.
