our nursery

i had the HARDEST time coming up with a theme for both of them. i decided on pottery barn insect sheets and have been hand painting them on the walls. i started taking pictures of the nursery process this weekend.

these pictures were from a few weeks ago (before the room was filled from wall to wall with gifts!) we are so thankful for how we have been provided for!! we found the dresser/ changing table on craig's list for only $100. the shelf is from pottery barn outlet for $20. the lamps are from walmart & everything else is pottery barn kids on ebay. now i am just waiting on the mattresses and berkley's bumper. it is so peaceful..one of my favorite things to do the last few weeks is just sit in the glider and think/ pray. glad to have the nursery ready because i didn't realize how much time it would take to organize clothes/ gifts! this time is flying by!!!

... before too long the frames will be filled with sweet little faces! i love the green & white polka dot frame...it says "two peas in a pod"! and the little baby bible on the night stand was a gift from a sweet retired teacher. i have been reading to them out of it at night as i rock in the glider. it is my favorite room in the house. i am still waiting to come across the bright pink gingham PBK bumper on ebay to finish off the nursery. (we already have the green one for davis)
