painting eggs

some of my favorite easter memories are coloring eggs & searching for candy at the park. one year i awoke to a trail of jelly beans that the easter bunny (aka my dad) had left. i look forward to similar rituals with the babies... decorating & counting eggs filled with goodies. watching their anticipation as they clumsily run from tree to tree, stuffing their baskets full.

my friend laura inspired me to begin creating these memories early. they enjoyed painting eggs, for the most part. davis had enough after getting a taste of vinegar. no fear, a bubble bath cheered him right up!

  1. These are precious! I love that despite being so messy dying eggs, Berk still had her bow in her hair. You go girl! And poor little Davis, vinegar doesn't taste so good!

  2. You would be the parent getting her kids started early with painting. I love this idea. And, also great idea to not having them wear clothes!! You're definitely experienced in this whole kid thing.

  5. Hey Andrea, You rock! I really think that it is so awesome that you do great things like this even after working with HS all day! Keep it up, maybe next year will be warmer and you can dye eggs OUTSIDE!!
