banner day

it's been a busy few weeks between wrapping up the year with work/ministry & watching the babies grow & change before our eyes.

in the last 24 hours:
davis has started clapping & is barely shy of crawling. yesterday he discovered that moving his knees propels him forward! we predict he will be getting around on his own in the next few weeks. he has also made significant progress in baring weight on his legs & attempting to pull up to stand.
berkley sat up on her own tonight from a laying position! she also pats her head when you ask her, "where is your head?"

i have been increasingly sentimental over the last few weeks as we creep closer to june 7th... the twinks 1st birthday. they are no longer our itty bitty babies. the ones that yawn with their entire bodies & coo as they stare blankly into the space before them. every dreamy newborn quality has been replaced by something just as sweet as they inch their way toward toddler hood. i just don't want to forget anything... i want to embrace it all. every moment, every emotion... all of it. time is precious. if only it would stand still for once.

here is davis attempting to crawl

and berk sitting up on her own. she was so proud that she immediately started clapping for herself!

  3. They are growing up so fast. Berk and Davis we are so proud of you and all you are learning. Just wait until they turn one. I thought Preslee and Mason changed so much that first year, but now, it's happening oh so fast!!!

  4. I cried! I cried when I read your sweet entry. I actually told Caleb that I thought we should reconsider the vasectomy last night b/c I am sooooo loving Audrey's baby stage and might want one more. Then I woke to reality and feeding three kids and changing sick diapers and big bowls of cheerios on the floor this morning. Snip!
