the number game of infertility

update on u/s this morning...had several follies on the left that were around 12. the right O was really hard to find for some reason and somewhat swollen looking...she wasn't concerned and didn't seem to think it was OHSS. so there were several smaller ones again and 2 that we thought were mature...19 & 17 mm. she said before the u/s she suspected my e2 to be around 150 but after we saw the bigger ones she said if it was above 400 we would trigger tomorrow after another u/s. crazy thing is she called back and my e2 was 45! yep, that's right...FORTY FIVE. i thought i missed her say the first number...maybe 345 or 445...so i was puzzled. she wants to keep me at 1 amp a day bc of how i hyperstimulated when i got pregnant. so i will do another e2 level and u/s on monday morning.

please pray that those little ones are growing and that i have a strong e2 level by then.... at least a level that shows progress anyway. i empathize more with you injectable/ IUI/ IVF girls that have ridden the roller coaster of numbers month after month! BLESS YOU. i enjoyed the hybrid of clomid/ injections bc my only concern was the size of mature follicles which i seemed to produce plenty of. bess and i were laughing on the phone about how weird, sometimes amusing, this whole process is..."how big were yours, what's your number? oh, my number was___". so strange, often frustrating but occasionally down right amusing.
