june 7, happy & healthy!!
Davis came first at 9:42 weighing 5 pounds 3 ounces and 18 1/2 inches long
Berkley followed at 9:44 weighing 6 pounds 2 ounces and 19 inches long
Davis briefly required oxygen just after birth but he joined Berkley within 10 minutes. We are so grateful for these tiny miracles and are amazed that they really belong to us. Our hearts are full!
Our families were with us to celebrate this special day... many of them with a love of photography. (You would have thought these babies were hollywood celebs!)

(side note: i highly recommend getting a c-section. the most painful part of the entire process & recovery was the catheter. ouch!)
this was the first time for us to see davis. i laughed and cried all at once. words cannot describe the new & raw emotions that we felt.
this is the moment they pulled berkley out. simply amazing.

ryan was able to carry berkley from the operating room to the nursery. you can see some of our proud family members (paparazi) celebrating their first glance at her. (davis was on oxygen at this point)
