happy anniversary!

on july 13th we celebrated 5 years of marriage! we happened to be in austin for ryan's high school reunion and drove by our first apartment. seems like yesterday and forever ago all at once. we have such fond memories of our year in austin. one of our favorite rituals was "Austin's Pizza" every tuesday night. such funny & desperate times ... ryan selling insurance and me working with 2 year olds!

each anniversary we each say 3 words that describe our marriage in the last year. our words were similar this year ... strong. deep. committed. through our struggles with infertility, miscarriage and a high risk pregnancy God has strengthened our love and commitment to one another. one of our favorite memories is also one of the most painful ones... because of the growth it caused in our friendship. i am so thankful for ryan... the strongest, funniest, godliest person i know.
