6:15 am- the lights are not yet on in our living room
davis spots the yellow box of wafers i left on the floor the night before. he b-lines to the box while berkley enthusiastically repeats "ca-cker", "ca-cker!"
a few cookies never spoiled anyone's breakfast, right?
fortunately, davis quickly discovered his most coveted possession, a ball. problem solved.
