it's my first day back to school and i miss the babies like crazy. all of my students are sleeping soundly now (yep, they still take naps at 4-5 years old!) so i pulled up the blog just to see their sweet faces. my time home with them was really precious. i'm already looking forward to more of it over the christmas holiday.
as for work, it was also wonderful seeing my class and being greeted with little hugs & "i missed you"s. i feel so grateful to have a life filled with children both at home & work. a wise friend wrote, "having a child and watching them grow is the most magical, fantastic thing on the planet. i am convinced that God spaced out our youth, children and grandchildren to remind us throughout our lives how truly amazing being a part of a child's life can be." i could not agree more.
